Bradford 2025 Venturists (Youth Social Action)2025-03-31T01:16:35+01:00

The Venturists

The project enables young people to understand and explore issues in their community and what they might do to help. Inspirational talks, trips, workshops and visits from local businesses, charities and community organisations help the young people to plan their own projects.

The young people then access the tools and resources to bring their idea to life; going on to deliver a project that makes a real impact. Each Venturists programme is developed in collaboration with the host organisation, enabling us to focus on specific areas of interest and deliver the best possible outcomes and impact for their young people.

Schools involved:

Beckfoot Heaton – BD9

Clayton Village Primary – BD14

No – Our projects are led by trained professionals who teach and guide you through each activity, from power tools to decorating. We also give a ‘tools talk’ so that everyone attending knows how to properly and safely use equipment. We always look to identify tasks to complete during your day that cater for everyone’s ability.
