Team Volunteering – Good Team Building

Corporate team volunteering is a great way to build teams, develop individuals and make a real difference in your community.

We are unique; providing a service that meets the needs of the volunteering organisation, whilst maximising the impact for the community organisations we support.

We offer a full service – we find projects, provide tools and materials and have an on-site facilitator to ensure your day runs smoothly.

We work with a range of community organisations to offer a variety of projects that support our diverse communities – such as youth, community, disability, homelessness, mental health, wellbeing, inclusion, sport and schools.

Business can engage in indoor and outdoor volunteering – can you help us…?

  • Decorating a local community centre
  • Developing a community allotment
  • Creating an outdoor educational play space
  • Making a new sensory room in a care home

    FAQs

How can my business volunteer in Yorkshire?2024-05-24T11:37:48+01:00

Participate can support your business and colleagues to engage in a range of team and skilled volunteering specifically tailored to your business’s needs.

    What is ESG?2024-05-24T11:48:07+01:00

Environmental, Social and Governance – many companies are recognising the importance of ESG practices in building strong relationships with customers, employees, and other stakeholders, as well as in reducing reputational risks and improving their social impact.

Is it free to my business?2024-05-24T12:06:29+01:00

As a charity, we are not trying to make a profit, we just need to cover our costs. So working with us, we will pass on the costs, but it is very good value for money!

Do we need DIY skills and can you cater for all abilities?2024-05-24T12:09:22+01:00

No – Our projects are led by trained professionals who teach and guide you through each activity, from power tools to decorating. We also give a ‘tools talk’ so that everyone attending knows how to properly and safely use equipment. We always look to identify tasks to complete during your day that cater for everyone’s ability.

    Where are the projects based?2024-05-24T12:20:01+01:00

The majority of our projects are in Yorkshire. However, we also deliver projects across the country. We utilise our large network of non-profits to find you the best and most relevant project for your business.
