Keighley Healthy Living first reached out to Participate in wanting to look at the sustainability of their charity.
Participate worked with the team, board and other stakeholders to develop a strategy and package of support for the organisation which included:
- Facilitated team away days
- Fundraising strategy and support with bid writing
- Organisation Strategy & Action Plan
- Business Planning
- Theory of Change
The strategy included diversification of income streams to include donations and traded income and was broken down into action plans for 1, 3 and 5 years.
We can now see the effects of this work; with Keighley Healthy Living doubling their income, doubling their delivery team and diversifying their income streams. They have become a solid community anchor in Keighley and have developed stronger local partnerships.
