POPI was started as a small volunteer run organisation; the need in Keighley meant they grew very quickly as an organisation. POPI supports families in Keighley with clothes and essentials for babies and children. They needed support to run their new start organisation well, legally and ensure they had the right resources in place.
What we did…
- Social Venture School
- Helped to establish their Charitable Incorporated Organisation
- Delivered workshops on basic charity functions
- Supported them with finance and accounts
- Helped them find the right location to work from
POPI has now supported over 2000 families with over 10000 donations. They have expanded their trustee and volunteer team and taken on a new property, enabling them to continue to serve families in need in Keighley.
