Organisation Details
Scholemoor Beacon are a community organisation on the Scholemoor Estate, a small social housing estate in the bottom 10% nationally for deprivation statistics. The company exists to provide a range of social activities and services to people living on the estate, such as employment support, cooking sessions and youth programmes. They are also soon to start their youth arts project for Bradford City of Culture 2025.
Project Details
Accessing Funding:
Scholemoor Beacon provides a wide range of daily services to its community Mon- Fri. To fund this, they are currently largely grant dependent and wish to diversify their income to ensure they can continue and expand on their services to the Scholemoor community. Support needed:
• Sourcing other forms of funding
• Help with writing funding bids
Number of volunteers
We are open to working with a wide range of volunteers who are able to help us with the project above.
