Project Details
St Margaret’s is a family-friendly Anglican church in Frizinghall, Bradford. They are much more than a ‘church’, they are a thriving community hub. They run a variety of initiatives to support their local community. This includes a youth group, stay and play, homework club as well as a litter picking group. They have growing spaces that engage people of all ages.
The challenge will include renovating their outdoor space:
- Rebuilding fence
- Repairing raised beds
- Repainting all woodwork

This will be taking place on Friday 14th February
Number of Volunteers
We are seeking a team of 5 volunteers.
On-site support
On the day Participate will be providing a member of staff to support the volunteers. A trained first aider and first aid kit will be available during the challenge. A tools talk and health and safety briefing will be given by Participate at the beginning of the day.
Preparation
Volunteers will be undertaking diy construction activities and are required to wear old and reasonably robust clothing. We also ask that you wear sturdy flat sole footwear avoiding any heels or open footwear. Where personal protective equipment is required it will be provided.
Materials, tools and equipment
Tools and materials will be provided by Participate Projects.
