Caretakers bungalow transformed into community centre.
Participate was approached by a family member of a child at Clayton C of E Primary School, with the idea to convert the unused caretaker’s bungalow on the school grounds into a community building and outdoor education centre.

- Business plan their idea
- Develop a visual plan of the new centre
- Support funding applications for capital works
- Facilitate 250 volunteers from local businesses including UKAR, Virgin Media, Yorkshire Building Society and Vanqis
The new community building is open and proving to be a huge success. The project has delivered amazing value for money, incredible partnerships and an ongoing commitment from local people and local businesses to support the community.
